Shiraz/Cabernet/Merlot 2009 – Oddsocks, South Eastern Australia

An explosion of vibrant berries overlaid with chocolate and spicy notes. This combo of 60% Shiraz, 33% Cabernet and 7% Merlot produces a very ripe and soft wine with a medley of plum and cherry fruits and soft vanilla oak.

From small beginnings, the winery has expanded its operations with the purchase of the Yenda winery based in the heart of the Riverina. The state of the art facility has the capacity to process 20,000 tonnes and produces wines that display personality, length of flavour and fabulous texture.

Oddsocks is a fun pair of triple varietal Aussie wines which are packaged in stylish and contemporary labels and screw caps. The name, ‘Oddsocks’ refers to the unusual blend of grapes varieties, which combine to create colourful and approachable wines.
