A round palate with gentle sparkle, soft, full, creamy mousse. Extremely drinkable round South African bubbly.

Van Loveren is a 220 hectare Estate situated alongside the Breede River near the town of Robertson, almost 100 miles inland of Cape Town. It has been in the Retief family for over three generations with cousins Bussell, Hennie, Neil and Phillip currently leading the team. In recent years major investment in the winery has resulted in one of the most modern cellars in the Robertson area with a capacity of around 3000 tonnes.

The vineyards are irrigated for six months of the year. The unique soil type, with its high limestone and chalk content, makes the Robertson area ideal for the production of noble white and red varietals.

This unpretentious bubbly is made from a blend of Colombard and Sauvignon Blanc white grape varieties producing a super value sparking wine with hints of peach and grass and a refreshing just-dry finish
