Château de Pasquette 2008 - Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux
Dominating aromas of ripe fruits, cherry, raspberry, blackberry and black currant followed by notes of the aging, toast, pepper and vanilla.
Château de Pasquette already mentioned on the map drawn up in 1762 by Belleyme, geographer of the King Louis XVth, was bought by the Jabiol family in 1942, also owners of the Cadet-Piola estate producing a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé. The wines of Château de Pasquette has the rare privilege of being laid down in an impressive underground cellar, hewn out of the rock by hand, several hundred years ago. Traditional winemaking process, very carefully watched, combined to modernity, make the wines from Château de Pasquette both opened and fit to age a long time.
