Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 – Neales Flat, Barossa Valley, Australia

A smooth and silky Cabernet Sauvignon oozing with blackcurrants and dark berry fruits supported by a great backbone of gentle wood ageing. The full bodied wine has rich aromas of plums and cassis with hints of tabacco and vanilla. Intense dark, berry chocolate, mint and blackcurrant flavours are structured by soft tannins and spice from 9 months maturation in oak barrels. A wine to be savoured or cellared. Serve with hearty red metas but also very good with mature chesses or very dark chocolate.
