La Fenice (The Phoenix) was a mythical bird known for the fact of being reborn from its ashes after his death. We wanted to give this name to our selection of Barolo after the terrible fire that devastated the historic cellar of the family in January 2007. La Fenice Company, was born from a collaboration with the Family Ghisolfi, which for hundreds of years Nebbiolo grapes grown in the fabulous estate that straddles the town of Castiglione Falletto and in Monforte. This hill is called Pugnane the west slope and east slope in Bussia.
